A family bond with Bali, turned into a platform for its artists.
Art from Bali connects Balinese artists with Dutch and European art lovers through a fair and authentic platform. Every artwork carries a story — a piece of culture, emotion, and meaning. Founded by Thijs and Floris Dahler, rooted in family heritage and a strong bond with Bali.
What began as visits to family on the island grew into friendships with painters, egg artists and woodcarvers whose work rarely reached beyond the local market. We built ArtFromBali.com so their pieces could travel — with their names, their stories and a fair share of every sale attached.
We buy nothing wholesale and produce nothing in series. Each artwork is made by hand by the artist you see on this site, photographed in their workshop, and packed with care for the journey to Europe.
